As was quoted by PC World, Saturday (10/23/2010), apparently has filed a lawsuit case up since 15 October last in the courts of Northern California region, the United States. Up trying to prevent Faceporn using elements that are considered to be characteristic up, including the use of Face in its site.
Based on the file the suit filed up to the court, Faceporn have been regarded as blatantly copying the logo up, typical and trademark website.
In the file included all the screen shots that show some resemblance Faceporn with Facebook, among them including the presence of wall postings and site colors blue and white dominated.
"There are many similarities between the up and Faceporn. We must enforce our rights to protect our trademark," said spokesman Simon Axten up.
Based on the information in Faceporn's Twitter account, currently the site is offline for a while because it is in the process redesign. "We're working hard to bring the latest version of the site the better. And this will be the best porn sites in the world," Umbar Faceporn.
Responding to this, there are several parties who criticize that up too much in claiming a common word that is claimed to have become trademark.
And not just this time up to sue. August, the site was made by Mark Zuckerberg also bring an action against a social networking site specifically the teachers who use the name TeachBook. Up to claim the word 'Book' attached to the back of the name of the site has been up for trademark violation
